What is healthcare website accessibility?
Healthcare website accessibility means patients can use your websites and portals regardless of disability. Booking pages work with a screen reader. Patient information is readable. Forms have proper labels, and contrast is strong enough for low vision. In the UK, NHS organisations fall under the public sector accessibility regulations, and the NHS England Accessible Information Standard sets rules for how providers communicate with patients who have information or communication needs.
